@pong415 Not quite what I meant actually. If it’s wet, let it sit our for a while before you smoke it until it dries to the proper moisture. If it’s dry, seal it up in a jar with a moist cloth attached to the inside of the top for a day or so depending on how dry it is. Just make sure you wring the cloth out first so it’s not soaking. Don’t want moldy tobacco!
@taylorsls
So I???????????????????????????????????????????????????
And i?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? should keep it moist?
@pong415 Well I guess too dry takes away flavor and too wet gives tongue bite and gurgling and other bad things like that. Although I guess if you don’t mind it either way it’s not a huge deal.
@pong415 No problem, glad to help! And, there is a test to determine if it’s at the proper moisture. Take a good sized pinch in your fingers, and squeeze it while holding it in the air. Then loosen your hold on it a bit. If it immediately starts to fall down and crumble, it’s too dry. If it sticks together and doesn’t want to crumble at all, it’s too wet. But then, it’s all personal preference too (although too wet probably won’t be enjoyable at all).
@pong415 Captain Black is okay, although if you are a cigar smoker you may or may not like aromatics, which CB is. If it’s CB White, it’s alright I guess for aromatics but not great. For aromatics, Trout Stream is supposed to be really good. If you want something more tobacco-ey as a cigar smoker, PipeFriend here has a few videos of good English blends that he likes.
For reviews of tobacco, try tobaccoreviews (dot) com, it has tons of reviews which can give you a general idea on quality.
@taylorsls
Do you know any good tobacco that I can try? I Have some old “captain black” is that good or okay? If not can you show me some tobacco you think is good in the internet?
@PLmakaroni My tobacco is always pleasant so I would imagine it has to do with the tobacco you selected. I smoke Billy Budd, Habana Day Dreams and London Squire from Cornell and Diehl and all deliver a consistently good smoke
Why do sometimes my tobbaco feels great (sweet and puffy) but other times its just terrible (bitter and sharp) ?
Also my tobbaco stars to feel bitter when i’m just about to finish the pipe (i’m 3/4 down the chimney) or when i accidentally put it out and relight it.
Is it even possible to have great taste from the beginning till the end ?
I have a question so I am a cigar smoker but I like to try pipe, When cigar smoker smoke cigar we are looking for flavor right, so when people smoke pipe what should we look for?
@pong415 I think you should too! No problem.
Also, I don’t have any pipe videos, although I may do some eventually. But feel free to send me questions in a message or whatever!
@taylorsls
Okay I think I should try some first and experience it. But thanks for all the HELP from you.
P.S: I will update myself to watch your video to learn.
P.S: If I have anymore question later I will come back to your video and ask you.
Thank You

@pong415 Flavor of course! The particular flavors you should be looking for depend on what you smoke.
