i dont think u harvest. i take leaves off as i need them. they keep growing for awhile. the leaves just get bigger. look @ the bottom of the plant at where they have removed the larger leafeses-_-
I thought drying the leaves like this video shows was the curing part. So what do you do in the second video? Isn’t that something similar? Or is this only the drying part, and the next one the curing?
I had a go at growing last year god the plants were thirsty I never had alot of luck with the smoking side as the leafs lost there greenness and went limp I don’t know what I did wrong I will have another go this year as have plenty of seed what got me is when to pick them and hang them still lost now? any help please
i know that there’s lots of industrial farms is Bahia (brazilian’s state) but it’s near the equatorial tropic. I live in são paulo which is next to the capricorn tropic, it rains a lot here in summer and it can get a little dry in winter
actual song is Tobacco Road performed by Hank William Jnr, Tobacco seeds need a warm climate (70 – 80fh) to germinate them so if this isn’t suitable in your area chuck em in a propagation tray and into a dark area (hot water cupboard), fill tray with seed fertiliser soil, then sprinkle seeds onto dirt, mist spray them this is all that is needed, then cover with lid and place in darkness. once sprouted move to sunlight. You pick the leaves when the plant is about to flower. or leaves turn yellow.
HEY, I LIVE IN SÃO PAULO, BEASIL. I’D LIKE TO KNOW IF THE SEDS ARE ABLE TO GROW THERE… here we have 2 climate stations (one of dry and the other with lots of rain)… it’s possible?

Grows great in California. The leaves get brittle because of the dry climate but they can be reconstituted.
