Padron cigars are globally noted for its fabulous flavor along with the essence of Cuban heritage. Padron still sticks with handmade cigar making process. It firmly denies the potential stake of technology used into cigar making. Probably, Padron is the only example in the cigar world which doesn’t hesitate in expressing such unusual confidence and faith upon its clients. So, the premier online cigarshop like CigarsDirect.com has included it into its wide ranges of cigar.

Now, let’s have the glimpse upon company profile. Padron is a family owned business, led by José O. Padrón and Jorge Padrón. The family takes care of everything right from the tobacco culmination to sorting, processing, manufacturing and distribution. The cigar is made up of extra long-aged Nicaraguan-grown tobaccos from Cuban seed. There is an interesting incident with this cigar. Cigar Aficionado is a highly reputed cigar magazine. It has continuously rated Cigars more than twelve years but never named as the best cigar of the year.

Thus, the complete management in own hand helps the company in determining quite lower price and quality product in spite of hard work in its making. Though all companies are raising price of their product but Padron believes in customer satisfaction and customer always remains on the top of its priority list.

Today, there are a many duplicate Padron manufacturers in the market. So, there are few points which must be taken care of whenever you are making the purchase:

• There are two special series of Padron cigars which have double band. Their names are Padrón Cigars 1926 Series and 1964 Anniversary Series.

• Another prominent identity is Padrón logo which is nicely visible on their uppermost ring.

• Unique serial number is also a credible identity mark.

• One must know that Padron cigars are always sold in wooden boxes. Hence, cigars in cellophane wrapped bundles are fake Padron cigar.

At last, let’s not miss to mention Padron’s signature line, the 1926 Anniversario. It comes under a very special category of cigar. Leading online shop viz. CigarsDirect.com may offer special pack of Padron 1926 40th Anniversary on discounted price as well. So get the best deal there.

One of the many hit TV shows inextricably linked to the 1980′s is The A-Team, an action series with plenty of bombs, machine guns, and bazookas – where miraculously no one ever seems to die! Short for “Alpha Team,” The A-Team is a Vietnam-era crack commando unit wrongfully accused of robbing the Bank of Hanoi. Having escaped from a maximum security prison, the four man team survives in the anonymity of the Los Angeles underground. And with the government still hot on their trail, they’re forced to work as soldiers of fortune, providing aid and assistance to the helpless victims of various injustices…

The A-Team is led by cigar aficionado Col. John “Hannibal” Smith (George Peppard), a wise-cracking officer who always has a plan in the works. Hannibal is flanked by Lt. Templeton “Faceman” Peck (Dirk Benedict), the consummate ladies’ man; Sgt. Bosco “B.A.” Baracus (Mr. T), a gold-drenched muscleman afraid of flying; and Captain H.M “Howling Mad” Murdock, a lanky mental case who nevertheless carries out his missions with flawless precision. Together, they travel the country in B.A.’s trademark black van, fighting for justice and attempting to elude the clutches of the nefarious Colonel Decker (Lance LeGault) who wants nothing more in life than to capture The A-Team…

The A-Team DVD features a number of action-packed episodes including the season premiere “Mexican Slayride” in which journalist Amy Allen sets out to prove the existence of The A-Team and its various good deeds. But when a fellow reporter is kidnapped by Mexican renegades, Amy gets a firsthand look at The A-Team’s handiwork when she hires them to rescue her friend… Other notable episodes from Season 1 include “Holiday in the Hills” in which, following a plane crash, The A-Team is forced to do battle with a group of mountain men, and “One More Time” in which the U.S. government itself hires The A-Team to rescue a general and his daughter from South American guerillas…

You may think that lighting a Cuban cigar could be as easy as it sounds, but you would be thinking wrong. It is true that anybody can light a Cuban cigar, but to light it in a way that preserves its flavor is a tricky business and may require knowing a thing or two about the process. Smokers who enjoy every Cuban cigar that they smoke should follow these tips to better enjoy their experience.

Before you light your Cuban cigar, you should heat its “foot” or end for sometime. As you keep heating it slowly on a fire, you will see that a black ring is forming on the foot. You must make sure that the Cuban cigar does not contact the fire at any point of time; the fire should just be close enough to warm the Cuban cigar until the black ring formation on the end is complete.

Wooden matches should be used to light a Cuban cigar and cedar matches are ideal for lighting the Cuban cigar as they do not meddle with the aroma when you use them. Although cedar matches would be perfect, you can also use a lighter if you must, to light your smoke. If you must use a lighter, make sure that it is butane lighter at least, because butane lighters do not leave any strong smell when you light your Cuban cigar with it. This makes sure that you do not lose out on the unadulterated flavor of the Cuban cigar.

Now that you have prepared your Cuban cigar well enough to be lit, you must actually light it and this is a tricky business as well. The Cuban cigar must be in your mouth as you light the wooden match or the butane lighter, but it should not touch the actual fire at any time. When the Cuban cigar is at an inch or less from the fire, start to draw in calmly. With you drawing in from so close to the flame, the Cuban cigar should light up soon, but now you must rotate it. The rotation is necessary to make sure that the Cuban cigar catches the fire equally through out.

Although you will rotate the Cuban cigar to make sure the burn is even, there is a chance that the burn may not still be even. After you have lit your Cuban cigar, take a look at it to ensure this. If you find the Cuban cigar to have unlit portions, blow on the lit part of the Cuban cigar a few times to evenly distribute the fire. Take a few puffs from the Cuban cigar now to complete the lighting procedure evenly and adequately.

These instructions are simple to follow and apply, but once applied and followed carefully, you will find your Cuban cigar smoking experience to be quite different from the other days cigar smoking and the difference will be in all likeliness will be a better one if not memorable.

A short musing about what would happen in the universe of cigars if and when the â??embargoâ? on Cuba should be lifted.

Cuba has been a thorn on many peopleâ??s side. From politicians to cigar smokers, to those who believe they are right and everyone else is wrong.
For the politicians, which ever end of the spectrum they have positioned themselves, Cuba is the little despotic, tyrannical piece of land sitting a little off our front yard. Too close for comfort and reminding us constantly of what we donâ??t like and what we donâ??t want. That it is poor and ignorant, (save for a handful who maintain the status quo) making it impossible for its people to take charge of their own destiny. Cuba is a reminder of the long gone failed utopian Communism. We humans are too diverse in our needs and goals for our future generations.

For the cigar smokers, the long coveted Cuban forbidden smoke. Only because there is an embargo set in place by J.F.K. , who made sure he had a large stock of his favorite H-Upmanns before he signed it.
What will happen if and when the embargo is lifted? In cyberspace there is a lot of talk about it.
From hopeful beliefs that the embargo has been lifted, to the belief that some of binding chains have been removed.
Everyone is in high anticipation of what could be. If the embargo is lifted, the first to be benefited will be the smokers, as they will be able to freely enjoy the forbidden smokes without fear of being jailed or having to pay harsh fines for the transgressions.  The next one to profit from the freed Cubans will be the retailers. It will force the domestic brands to compete, reduce prices and offer promotions never seen before. Producing another cigar boom. Competition is good for business.

The last one to profit from the lifting of the embargo will be the Cuban cigar. Up until the embargo was set in place, Cuban cigars were blended like all the cigars produced outside Cuba.  After that, the Cuban cigars became a blend of tobacco grown only in Cuba. The Cubans could and can not import tobacco from the neighboring countries, like Dominican Republic, Nicaragua or Honduras, as they were under commercial and economical American rule. In that case, if the Cuban cigar is considered good today, imagine how much better it could be if blended with other tobaccos. It would lose its characteristic post â??Fidelâ? aroma, but would gain in complexity and subtlety.

Therefore, we are all waiting in baited anticipation. Will they or will they not? All we can do right now is wait with dreams of Cuban swirls of smoke.

The Padron Magnum Maduro didn’t have as much punch as I was expecting and left me feeling a little unsatisfied. Let me know what your thoughts are.

Cigar smokers are a keen bunch, and they can often detect differences in tobacco blends used in different sized cigars even though they are in the same line of cigars. You will find that makers of cigars use slightly different blends for a variety of reasons. It is even possible that cigars crafted from the same blend have a different taste depending on the size of the cigar.

Size is the most important factor when it comes to the reason cigar blends in the same line differ. A smaller cigar, which is shorter and more narrow, will have a different taste than a large cigar in the same line. When you have a smaller cigar, you are going to get more taste of the wrapper for one thing. Also, you will simply not have the same ratio of tobacco to wrapper and binder as you would with a larger cigar unless the manufacturer changes the blends slightly.

What are the reasons that blends differ in taste depending on size, even though they are from a single line? The size itself is the primary reason. A smaller cigar is going to taste different from a larger cigar. When you have a larger cigar, you have more filler and less wrapper. This allows the full flavor of the cigar to come across. The smaller cigars that don’t have as much of the filler are going to have a milder taste in most cases, even though it is from the same blend.

The more you smoke cigars, the better you will become at finding these differences. In some cases, you might even be able to spot the differences without even lighting the cigar. You can simply look at the blend and figure out how it will probably taste.

As your knowledge grows, you will find that you can tell the difference between the light and the dark tobaccos, and this will help you choose a cigar that you will enjoy. Take some time to experiment with different blends so that you can find the type of cigar that you like the best.
